About
Built in Thunder Bay since 2006
We started as a concrete contractor. The work grew around the crews: first foundations and flatwork, then the buildings on top of them, then whole projects from excavation to finishes.
Who we are
Today we are a general contractor working across Northwestern Ontario, from the city to fly-in First Nations communities. We still pour our own concrete, from our own ready-mix plant.
Ryan Jones, President.
Our people
We build with our own crews: journeyman carpenters, equipment operators, concrete finishers, labourers, mechanics and apprentices, led by site superintendents who have been with us for years.
Subtrades handle mechanical, electrical and specialties, and we schedule and manage them as one team.
Safety
Safety runs the same on a school renovation in Thunder Bay as on a winter road job in the north. Every site has a plan, every crew has a toolbox talk, and designated substances are surveyed and handled before demolition starts.
How we work
Four things we hold to
- One contract, one point of contact. A project manager owns your job from award to close-out.
- Occupied buildings stay open. We phase around your calendar, not ours.
- We plan the hard parts early. Winter roads, long-lead materials and abatement.
- Bonded and insured. Current certificates are available on request.
